# Shapus Word - Data Deletion Instructions

## 1) How to submit a request
Please email us with the subject line **"[Shapus Word] Data Deletion Request."**
- **To**: [support@shapus.com](mailto:support@shapus.com)
- **Include in your message:**
- The email address (or phone number) you used in the app
- Your sign-in method (**third-party provider** such as Facebook/Google/Apple, or Email/Phone)
- Last login date/time (if known, optional)
## 2) Identity verification
To prevent unauthorized deletion, we will verify your identity (e.g., by contacting the registered email address) and may request limited additional information if necessary.
## 3) Processing time
We aim to complete deletion **within 30 days**. In technically complex cases, processing may take **up to 90 days**. We will notify you by email once completed.
## 4) Scope of deletion
- We delete account data and learning records **that we control**.
- To comply with laws and for fraud prevention, security, accounting/audit, and dispute resolution, **we may retain the minimum necessary information for the period required by applicable laws and policies**.
- Residual records in backups and audit logs are **removed through routine rotation** and are not used for active processing after your deletion request is fulfilled.
- **Aggregated or anonymized data** that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics.
## 5) Disconnecting third-party sign-in (for your reference)
You can revoke access to your identity provider from that provider's account settings (e.g., **Facebook > Settings > Apps and Websites**). Revoking provider access **does not delete** your Shapus Word account or data. To delete your data with us, **please submit a request via email** as described above.
